Mr. Kevin Smith is a native of Kansas City, Missouri's urban core.  Growing up in a single parent home, he understands the struggles that children and families face when it feels like the drought will never end.

Mr. Smith has a passion for igniting excitement in all ages to tap into their gifts and encourages the utilization of those gifts to make a positive difference in their community and the world around them.  He inspires people to believe in themselves and to know that with ambition, hard work and dedication; there are no limits to success.

He is a courageous leader with vision, breaking barriers of the status quo!  

He is balanced with experience, insight and practicality. Underlying all this are the principles of God’s Word being used as a vessel by God to transform lives.

 

Mr. Smith is also the President of Urban Success Development Inc. 

​

He is a graduate of:

​

           *  Westport Business Technology/Communication Magnet High School with an

               emphasis in Business Technology studies. 

​

           *  Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in

              Political Science/History with a minor in Religion. 

 

While studying at Columbia College he held several prestigious leadership position such as:

              * Black Students Association President

              * Student Activities Commission President 

              * Governor's Office/Missouri State Capitol assistant to Congress and local

                 representative. 

              * Freedom School Inc. Leader

 

He was also blessed to be apart of Mr. Ewing Kauffman's "Project Choice" program where he was the recipient of a full ride academic college scholarship for his undergraduate studies.

Mr. Smith is married to Diana Smith and is the proud and humble Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
