Education is the foundation of success and most families in our communities don’t have the resources to provide the basic necessities for their children such as school supplies. 

The back to school fair provides the families of our community a starter kit of school supplies to assist in having a successful and productive school year.  Each child is able to receive a backpack full of grade specific school supplies. 

Studies have shown that when you look good, you feel good and it boost self-confidence, therefore, we partner with various cosmetologist in the community to provide free haircuts for the boys and hairstyles for the girls so they can walk into their first day of school with their heads held high and full of confidence for academic success.

In the near future, Educate to Excel will expand to support higher education endeavors through our upcoming “College Experience” program which includes college tours, book scholarships, annual college survival kits, mentoring/tutoring resources and Financial Aid/Scholarship/Student Loan seminars.
